Aircraft Highlights

Now available is a 2007 R44 Raven II with new Main Rotor Blades. This helicopter has been privately operated in the Yukon and flown by a commercial pilot with over 5000 hours. The main rotor blades were replaced because they had small dents that they thought were within limits but wanted to be safe and installed new ones last year. They only have 144 hours on them. New blades cost just under $50,000 USD. Maintenance was performed at the commercial schedule. The helicopter has no known issues and has never been in an accident.

The high-performance R44 Raven II is designed for more payload, higher altitudes, and faster speeds with all the luxuries of the Raven I. The latest in the R44 line, this aircraft is also available as a Clipper II, Police Helicopter, and Newscopter.

The high-performance R44 Raven II has a two-bladed rotor system, T-bar cyclic and is powered by Lycoming’s fuel injected IO-540 engine. The IO-540 delivers better altitude performance, increased capacity, and eliminates the need for carburetor heat.

The R44’s open cabin configuration provides unobstructed views from every seat. A lightweight airframe and aerody- namic fuselage optimize airspeed and fuel economy, while the aircraft’s low tail-rotor tip speed, heavy duty muffler, and large cambered tail decrease flyover noise.

The Raven II has the latest in Robinson technology, including lighter weight landing gear, a streamlined instrument panel, and a new bladder fuel system.
